Most people take their stainless steel in brushed or mirror polished finishes, but Chinese design studio Buzao recently chose to electropolish the material for their latest exhibit. The project, entitled ‘Hot’ uses the process to give the stainless steel furniture a psychedelically, multi-coloured effect that extends across the colour spectrum, to give the impression of being either very hot, or extremely cold.
The street furniture utilises a combination of slatted vertical and horizontal box section beams that intersect in clean straight lines, whilst forming a strong and robust structural strength. The hypnotic colours then bring the structures to life as the light creates iridescent colour changes across the surfaces as viewer move around the structures.
We don’t have the same psychedelic colours as the Buzao pieces, but we are expert in constructing similar solid and long lasting Stainless Steel Frames, so contact us now with your project!
